Before tearing, shake envelope at top. Pour 8 oz of boiling water over the tea bag in a cup and steep for 3-5 minutes. Dunk the bag several times for the best brew. Use 2 tea bags for a stronger brew in a larger mug. Add milk, non-dairy milk, and sweetener as you prefer.
Iced Teeccino: Steep 2 tea bags in 8 oz boiling water. Pour over ice in a 12 oz glass and add milk and sweetener to taste.

What material are the tea bags made from? Any plastic involved?
Composable oxygen bleached Filter Paper . No gluten in the paper, or herbs. Is Teeccinos tea bag paper plastic free? Yes, Teeccinos tea bag paper is completely free of fossil fuel-derived plastic. The sealing fiber in the paper is made from a plant fiber that is renewable and biodegradable. The paper is certified industrial compostable by TUV Austria. However, if you want to compost your tea bags in a backyard compost pile, the plant fibers will take longer to break down than if they are composted in an industrial composter that produces higher heat. Nevertheless, the fibers will completely break down in time without contributing any plastic to the environment.
